This website, norskprat.com, is run by NORSKPRAT MED VOLDENGEN (Norwegian organisation number 935989841), a sole proprietorship owned by Mads Harald Voldengen. We are responsible for the personal data collected on this site.

What data we collect and why

Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter or free downloads, we collect your email address and, if you choose to give it, your first name. We use this to send you the free resource you asked for, new podcast episodes, learning tips, and occasional information about our courses and lessons.
Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.

Booking private lessons

When you book a lesson, we collect your name, email address, and any information you share about your level and goals. We use this to schedule and deliver your lessons and to send invoices.
Legal basis: to fulfil our agreement with you.

Website statistics

We use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read most. These tools use cookies and only run if you accept them in the cookie banner.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to make the site work, and statistics cookies only with your consent. You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage consent” button at the bottom of the page.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your data. We use the following services, which process data on our behalf:

• Hostinger – website hosting
• Kit (ConvertKit) – newsletter and email
• Google – website statistics
• NeetoCal – booking and payment

Some of these companies are based outside the EU/EEA, including in the USA. Transfers are protected by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep your data

• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• Lesson bookings and invoices: up to 5 years, as required by Norwegian bookkeeping law.
• Website statistics: up to 14 months.

Your rights

You have the right to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to withdraw your consent, and to object to how we use it. Send an email to mads@norskprat.com and we will reply within 30 days.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.no) or to the data protection authority in your own country.
